Evidence Of Front Facing Camera, iChat and More in iPhone OS 4.0

Apple just announced iPhone OS 4.0 as you may have heard, and along with it they released a SDK for developers to play around with in anticipation of its launch this Summer. In it we have found some familiar information that hints once again at the possibility of a front facing camera in the iPhone HD/4G, whatever it’s going to be called.

While these iChat features were found in the SDK for the iPad, they were never introduced so the next gen iPhone must be getting them.

A report a while back hinted at a front facing camera and multitasking for third party apps.

Well so far we have got support for multitasking with third party apps now thanks to iPhone OS 4.0 and the latest SDK is also hinting heavily at a front facing camera.

A new process known as iChatagent has been popping up which would suggest video calls like Apple’s iChat could be coming soon.

We will just have to wait and see
