While the rest of the world has a choice when it comes to choosing a carriers for the iPhone 4, unlike the US who are stuck with AT&T, now Canada, France and the UK all have the option to buy the iPhone 4 factory unlocked as well, to use with any carrier they wish.
In the UK, the iPhone 4 16GB is priced at £499 and the 32 GB version will set you back £599. If you’re in France you will find yourself forking up €629 (16GB) and €739 (32GB) for the unlocked model. And for those of you in Canada you will be passing over around $549 of your hard earned cash for the unlocked iPhone 4. However these figures can’t be confirmed at the iPhone 4 won’t be available in Canada until next month.
But at least you will have the option to buy the iPhone 4 factory unlocked and you wont have to go jail-breaking it etc…
