After just getting a close up look at the iPhone 4G outer case, we now have the battery for the next gen iPhone as well. As I said in the last post, it seems we will have enough parts to build the iPhone 4G ourselves before Steve Jobs gets to announce it in just under a week at WWDC.
This latest piece comes from Apple.pro yet again and showcases a lithium Ion battery with 5.25 watt hours, which is up 16.5% from the current 4.51 battery in the iPhone 3GS. So it looks like a battery increase is definitely on the way, but then again it will need to be to keep up with the multitasking and probably faster processor.
They also posted some images of the iPhone Dock connector which appears to be slightly different from the current one, but in what way we don’t know.
