Well the UK really seem to be getting the best of everything here. Not too long ago Vodafone, O2 and Orange all announced the iPhone 4 would be coming to their network, now 3 and T-Mobile UK have been added to that list to bring a total of 6 carriers for the UK Consumer to choose from.
See the 3 announcement here and T-Mobile’s here
O2 have also been making the news as well, but for the wrong reasons. Their new tariff for the iPhone 4 no longer includes unlimited data!
Instead you have unlimited texts, but call minutes and data usage are all being tiered with the highest data usage package at 1GB. You can however purchase an additional add on of 500MB for £5 or 1GB for £10 from October.
However, the carrier will continue running a “promotion” offering unlimited data for all smartphones until October.
But look on the bright side UK Consumers, you have 5 other carriers to choose from, Vodafone, T-Mobile, 3, Orange and Tesco
Sorry US users, your still stuck with AT&T
