Any of you who were pre-ordering will have noticed that the white iPhone 4 was unavailable to pre-order at the time. Best Buy however did take some pre-orders for the white model expecting stock at the beginning of July. However, since then they’ve told customers they will be waiting longer than that.
Today Apple issued a press release addressing the availability of the white iPhone 4, it’s now set to launch in “the second half of July”

White models of Apple’s new iPhone 4 have proven more challenging to manufacture than expected, and as a result they will not be available until the second half of July. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.
