Apple Deletes Discussion Threads About Consumer Reports And iPhone 4

Oh, somebody’s getting a little bit hot under the collar. Apple seem to be starting to sweat a little with the bad press being received because of this antenna issue. Yesterday consumer reports said they couldn’t recommend the iPhone 4 after they replicated the issue themselves.

Apple are getting very embarrassed by the whole deal, and are doing their best to cover it all up and keep it hush, but you know the blogosphere, once we get something, we just keep going with it. Numerous threads were started on Apple’s official forums about the findings from consumer report, they were then quickly deleted by forum moderators.

At least 6 threads have been deleted so far, and apparently it’s not uncommon for Apple to delete threads that don’t speak highly about them. That’s probably why everything always seems rosy in the sanctuary of the Apple forums.

Oh Apple, just grow up and admit, that for once, you messed up, everyone will think better of you for it.
