I’m sure those of you who were holding out for the White iPhone 4 were pretty disheartened to say the least when Apple broke the news that the white iPhone 4 was delayed even further until later this year.
So what do you do if you were waiting to get your hands on the white iPhone 4? Well maybe some of these options would work for you, (probably not though)
1. Get A White Bumper or Case
Ok it’s probably not the best solution in the world, but it could work for you. Think about it, if you were getting the White iPhone 4, you would probably have put a case on it anyway so you wouldn’t even see the color. So if you just get yourself a white case (through Apple’s free case deal) or another third party and you could be set.
You could get yourself a bumper, but they only go around the sides of the phone, so you would still see black, but black on white could look pretty cool.
2. A Bit Of DIY
I’m sure the last thing you saw yourself doing when you bought your brand new iPhone 4 was opening it up and tearing it apart. Not the most ideal solution, but there’s a Chinese website where you can order white iPhone 4 face plates, and Engadget have even got a guide for you on how to install them. Of course doing this is completely at your own risk and will most certainly void your warranty. How badly do you want a white iPhone 4?
3. Listen To Apple
For some reason Apple always refer to the black iPhone 4 as the most popular model. How can they say this if they haven’t even made the white model available yet? Maybe Apple are trying to say that only the cool kids get the black iPhone 4, the white iPhone 4 is for losers…….?
Another thing you could always do is buy a different smartphone altogether, maybe the white HTC Evo 4G or buy a white iPhone 3GS?
One way or another, if you want to get the official white iPhone 4 from Apple, you will be waiting sometime from now until your New Years Eve Party I’m afraid.
