Enough of the Verizon iPhone rumors, how about some T-Mobile ones! T-Mobile stands more of a chance of getting the iPhone 4 than Verizon simply because it is a GSM network like At&t so that means Apple won’t have to modify the iPhone 4 to run on the network.
Or is it, turns out T-Mobile has a 1700 / 2100 3G network which is not compatible with AT&T’s. So it seems no carrier is perfectly suited for the iPhone 4 in the US at least. I know here in Ireland we don’t have to worry about all these different network types, here there all standard.
Oh wait, still haven’t told you why T-Mobile are getting the iPhone 4 -
Apparently, According to Cult of Mac at least, a “highly placed source” at T-Mobile let it slip that they’ve got an 80 chance of getting the iPhone in Q3
So this could mean nothing, or it could mean something we’ll leave it up to you decide. This is the second time we’ve had a T-Mobile rumor, but it never gained as much traction as the Verizon ones.
