While the white iPhone 4 may be delayed for another couple of months, the free bumpers that were promised to us are now being processed. Anyone who purchases the iPhone 4 before September 30th is eligible for one of the free iPhone 4 bumper cases or select third party cases.
Apple have released an App that manages the free case orders which you can download from the App Store. You then launch the app and sign into your iTunes account and select which bumper or case you’d like. Then you need to wait patiently, as at the moment wait times are somewhere around 3 weeks!
For those of you who purchased the iPhone 4 before July 23rd, you must apply no later than August 22nd.
And those of you who purchased a case in the Apple store or online already, you should be seeing a full refund appearing on your credit card, or if you purchased in store, you’ll have to dig out that receipt and bring it back to the Apple store for Cash, Cheque or Gift Card.
