Ok so while we haven’t been given an official public release of an unlock for the iPhone 4, we can be assured that it is possible. To date we’ve had to teasers of the unlock, one from Geohot and another from the Dev Team. Now we’ve got another one from another member of the Dev Team, but this is a different method.
Apparently there is 3 different ways to unlock the iPhone 4 baseband. This one by MuscleNerd is different from the previous method.
The two dev team members will now work together to see which of these methods is the most efficient to use before they release the next version of ultrasn0w for the iPhone 4.
