The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Apple is not planning a full scale recall of the iPhone 4, contrary to what Gizmodo reported. Apple are expected to announce a solution to the iPhone 4 antenna issue at their press conference today.
Apple’s iPhone 4 has been dogged by reports of antenna-reception problems since its launch last month. The company has called a news conference to discuss the issue Friday. Apple doesn’t plan to recall the phone, a person familar with the matter said.
They also reported that Steve Jobs knew about the internal antenna issues before they product went to market, but he liked the design too much to change it.
This would go along with the report we covered the other day from Bloomberg
Do you think Apple will issue a recall at today’s event?
