72% Of iPhone 4 Customers Satisfied, Dislike AT&T

A new report released today (Wednesday) has shown that iPhone 4 users are “very satisfied” with the new device. The majority of users, 72% in fact said that they were very satisfied. 21% said that they were somewhat satisfied.

While this all may sound very positive, it still fails to meet the expectations of the iPhone 3GS. It had a higher satisfaction rating, with 82% of owners saying they were very satisfied.

Of course the iPhone 4 has had an awful lot of bad press because of the Antenna issues as well as some problems with the proximity sensor and no doubt all this has damaged it’s reputation somewhat.

However this next piece of information contradicts all that, when surveyed and asked about dropped calls, iPhone 4 owners reported fewer dropped calls than iPhone 3GS owners. Only 5.2% of iPhone 4 customers claimed to have dropped calls, while 6.3% of iPhone 3GS owners did.

Now this could also be due to improvements in AT&T’s network or improvements in the antenna design or both. Or maybe it could be because there all using the free bumper cases?!

But AT&T yet again seems to be the problem for US consumers. When asked what they disliked most about the iPhone 4, the 2 most voted for reasons were because of AT&T and it’s network, followed by the antenna issues.

Now this survey isn’t really fair for countries that have multiple carriers to choose from for the iPhone 4, and they have better reception in general.

Then when they were asked what they liked most, it was that gorgeous retina display followed by the much improved camera.

What do you guys like most about the iPhone 4? What do you like least about it?
