Not too long ago a iPhone 4 jailbreak was released, all you had to do was visit jailbreakme.com and it would jailbreak your iOS device by taking advantage of a PDF exploit in the iPhone firmware. Since this exploit can easily be adapted for more malicious exploits, you want to be careful with it, and now it looks like when you jailbreak your device using this exploit, you can protect yourself against any further exploits.
Apple have said they are working on a solution for this, but you can have one now. Simply go to cydia on your jailbroken device and install F-Secures app called “PDF Loading Warner”.
What this will do is alert you when PDF’s are loading to help protect you from loading one that could be malicious.
