I know the whole antenna hooray with the iPhone 4 has somewhat subsided, even though the problem itself is still there, it appears that consumers are more interested in the carrier, rather than the hardware issue.
A recent survey carried out shows that 69% of users are aware of the iPhone 4 issues, but only 20% of these said that it affected wheter or not they bought the device.
The other 80% said the reason they hadn’t bought the iPhone 4 was because of it’s cost and carrier. AT&T still seems to be a real turn off for Apple’s customers in the US, and it seems that everyone is hoping for a new carrier to come on board.
While rumors have pointed towards a January release with some pretty conclusive evidence, we still haven’t heard anything definite as of yet.
This is just yet another survey that shows that people are not satisfied with only being able to choose AT&T as their carrier in the US.
