One of the most notable features of the iPhone 4 is its incredible Retina Display which is unmatched by any other smartphone or device to date. That was until, or at least we thought, the iPod Touch 4G when Steve Jobs announced it last week.
We were impressed by the front and rear cameras, gyroscope, a new processor and a retina display like the iPhone 4′s, however it seems that iPhone 4′s [...]

Now the first preorders in the US sold out pretty quick and caused chaos all over the place, but that was to be expected, but it seems South Korea also has got the iPhone bug. Preorders were made available as of yesterday but the demand was so overwhelming, that servers of the carrier KT Corp were crippled. An incredible 130,000 handsets were preordered by 7pm local time, 13 hours after preorders [...]

The free bumpers promised to us by Steve Jobs came with a lengthy waiting list with the earliest orders expected to be shipped in September, however, it seems that some are beginning to arrive a bit earlier than that. The free cases began arriving in the UK last month, but there was no sign of them in the US.

Now that you can jailbreak the iPhone 4 , it means that you can install a little app from cydia that will allow you to use Facetime over 3G. Now of course we’ve shown you that little trick that will allow you to use Facetime over 3G, but how much data will you chew through in that time?
Well according to a brief test by 9to5Mac, about three megabytes a minute. 9to5Mac conducted a 5 minute FaceTime [...]

Apple got a little bit embarrassed by the whole iPhone 4 antenna issues and tried to turn it around and say that they weren’t as bad as other major smartphone manufacturers.
Of course we didn’t believe them, but Apple went ahead and posted results from their antenna tests on other smartphone devices. And basically Apple said that the iPhone 4 was the best.
It was all over Apple’s [...]

Now this isn’t that exciting, but a while back Apple uploaded some CAD files for manufactures and designers who were interested in making cases for the iPhone 4. The drawings gave accurate dimensions and specifications for the iPhone 4 design and body.
Now they were usable, but Core77 has gone one step further and improved on these drawings and made them much more user friendly. They are now overlay-ed on [...]
