iOS 4 was rolled out to the iPhone 3G along with the 3GS and of course the iPhone 4. The original iPhone and iPod Touch however didn’t get the update because they weren’t of a high enough spec. Even so, the iPhone 3G was given a limited version of iOS 4, and had no support for multiasking.

Apple have now released the iOS 4.0.1 firmware update which will fix the display issue with the iPhone 4 (it wasn’t displaying signal strength correctly)
